Cyber Security as the New National Security Frontier
Understanding the topic
The word "frontier" carries the argument. Security has moved across domains before, from land to sea, then air, then space, and each move changed what defence means. Explain what changes when the domain is digital. Do not just list cyber threats.
Three properties make cyberspace genuinely different, and an essay built on them beats an essay built on examples. Attribution is hard: you cannot credibly threaten to retaliate against an attacker you cannot name, so deterrence weakens. Entry is cheap: small states and even non-state actors get capabilities that used to belong only to large states. And most critical infrastructure is privately owned, so national defence now depends on companies the state does not command. Those three points are the argument. Stuxnet and ransomware statistics merely illustrate it.

Sample introduction
Modern states depend on digital networks for banking, energy, communication, transport and public services. An attack on those networks can disrupt daily life without a soldier crossing a border. This is why cyber security has become a new frontier of national security. The threat is different from conventional warfare in three important ways: the attacker may be hard to identify, the cost of launching an attack can be low, and much of the infrastructure at risk belongs to private companies rather than the state. Cyber operations can steal secrets, freeze hospitals, damage power systems and spread false information that weakens public trust. Pakistan's rapid digitalisation has increased convenience, but it has also expanded the number of systems that must be protected. Cyber security is now a core part of national defence because a state that cannot protect its networks cannot reliably protect its economy or its citizens; Pakistan therefore needs stronger institutions, trained professionals, public-private coordination and basic digital awareness across society.
