CSS English Essay Paper 2026 — Solved Outlines and Introductions
How to use this page
Each topic gets three things: a plain reading of what the examiner is actually asking, a working outline, and a model introduction built on one structural rule, general to specific, define your terms, describe the terrain, then close with an explicit plan of coverage and a thesis that commits you to a position.
Two observations about this paper before you begin. First, it is unusually Pakistan-heavy: at least five topics either name Pakistan or are unanswerable without sustained domestic application. Prepare accordingly. Second, it contains a topic in direct philosophical tension with one from 2025: this paper's Q6 argues that peace comes from military preparedness, while the 2025 paper argued that peace comes from justice. Reading both together is one of the fastest ways to develop the kind of argued position examiners reward.
This paper also carries quotation topics — Q6's preparedness line and the closing Palmerston dictum among them. How to attempt a literary essay sets out how to turn a line like either of those into a thesis you can actually defend.
