How to use the lectures and the notes together

Watching is passive, and reading notes on their own is slow. What works is moving between them in a fixed order. Watch the lecture once without taking notes, just following the argument. Then read the written notes for the same topic, which is where the detail sits. Then attempt a past paper question from memory. Then read our solved answer for that question and compare it with yours.

That last step is the one most candidates skip, and the one that moves marks. You are not checking whether you knew the facts. You are checking whether you organised them the way an examiner rewards.

Where to start

If you have not sat the exam before, begin with CSS Exam Basics. It covers the paper structure, subject choice, and how to plan a year of study. After that, pick the compulsory subject you are weakest in and work through its series. Do not start with optional subjects. Compulsory papers decide most results.
